The project of Yusuf Trilogy has started after the film "Angel's Fall". Director Semih Kaplanoğlu says "Seeing at the Forum section of the 55th Berlinale, where my second film "Angel's Fall" had its world premiere in February 2005, how some directors look upon their own provincial towns opened new horizons for me." This became the beginning of the project.
Yusuf Trilogy composed of "EGG", "MILK", "HONEY", focuses on the change in the social and economic life in Anatolian provinces within the framework of a mother-son relationship. Every film will be shot in different parts of Anatolia.
